How can I find saved emails after reinstalling Thunderbird

We had a power outage and my operating system had to be reinstalled. When I downloaded Thunderbird, it found all my new emails, but my saved and sent emails folders were gone. Can I get these back?

Before you reinstalled Windows, did you backup the TB profile folder, or do you have any backups? Did the reinstall create a backup of the AppData folder (hidden by default)?

Are the accounts POP or IMAP? The fact you recovered some mail suggests it's IMAP, and if so, some additional folders may be restored by subscribing to them (right-click the account, Subscribe...).
