Exported a number of emails from an account on an email server into a bunch of eml files within a .zip file. Downloaded them to my Ubuntu 16.04 box. Would like to import them into a specific folder on my T'bird.

How many is "a number"? I have imported eml files one by one by simple drag and drop. I'm pretty sure this would also work for a multiple selection.

Otherwise I'd look at the ImportExportTools addon.
