how to back up emails in Windows 10
I want to back up my emails from Thunderbird to an external drive. The information on the internet wasn't very useful. Does anybody know how to do this?

"Back up" - and what do you intend to do with the "backup"?
If you want to be able to restore Thunderbird after a nasty accident such as a hardware failure, the best thing to do is make a copy of its profile.

Sometimes users say "backup" when they really mean "archive". If you want to store messages outside Thunderbird, look at the ImportExportTools add-on.
