Firefox hangs up
Mozilla is super slow and hangs up all the time. Takes over a minute after you try to scroll or click a link to go anywhere. Did the troubleshooting and refreshed Mozilla and still hangs up. How do I fix it?

Reset the browser cache.
- Tap the menu icon located at the top right corner. This is the icon with 3 bars. On older Android devices you'll have to press the hardware menu key and then tap More.
- Tap Settings.
- After that, you will be taken to the settings screen. In the settings screen, look under the section Privacy & Security and select Clear private data.
- You will then be taken to a list of what can be cleared. Select the following 2 for deletion:
- Cookies & active logins
- Cache
- After those have been selected, tap the Clear data button to actually clear the cache and cookies.
If this fails, try clearing the cache from your devices settings. It's usually settings > apps > Firefox > clear cache
Hope this helps! If not be sure to reply back.
I am not having problems on my android device like my cell phone, but rather my desktop computer. I have cleared all my cookies and cache...I cleared all data for that matter. It is so bad I can't even use the computer to get online. I am so frustrated. It didn't do this until after this last Mozilla upgrade. It was always slow, but it literally takes over a minute to allow me to do anything between scrolls or clicks on links. I am running Windows 10 and that is when it started running slow. I have a good antivirus program and run it daily. I don't know what the deal is.
Thank you for your help though...it is greatly appreciated!
Sorry, I assumed you were talking about Android as you posted your question in the Firefox for Android forum.
If you're having problems with the newest update, consider switching to Sea Monkey until your problem is solved. Sea Monkey is run by Mozilla and is like previous versions of Firefox. You can also import all your previous data (Bookmarks, etc.)
I apologize for the confusion. I had to post my question from my cell phone since I am having so many issues with my desktop, and it would not let me post it to any other forum. Thank you for your help.
