Hmm, that's a funny one.

This article: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Dangerous_directories_-_Thunderbird explains some reasons for the appearance of this message, but it's not clear why your location has offended it.

My own (working!) Local Folders has this path:

C:\Users\cjr\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\cjr_profile\Mail\Local Folders

and as you can see it is not materially different from yours. I am stumped.
