If I send e-mails using Thunderbird from my Windows Laptop, they are not displayed (at all) in my actual e-mail account which I am using as address. i.e. I am writing on behalf of a web.de mail address using Thunderbird, but when I am on the road accessing my web.de account through the web.de mobile app or check directly at web.de on my computer, any mails sent through Thunderbird are not displayed in my "sent itemes". Is there anything to do in the server settings with Thunderbird to get this?

right click the account in the folder pane and select subscribe.

There should be a sent folder there. I am expecting a different name to what Thunderbird is using. Perhaps sent items or the like. Or for that matter geschickt.

IS that so? If it is right click the account, select settings and in the copies and folders for the account select the server side folder for sent mail

This is normal operation if you are using POP email. Use IMAP if you want to sync more folders than the Inbox.
