I am using some one-way e-Mail addresses to disguise my real ones. So when sending an email from this account, then I let generate a disguise address that has to be used in the E-Mail then. If the receiver does a reply on this, then it will be resolved again.

However, it looks like that I am right now only able to select the sender from the dropdown menu.

So, how can I freely manually edit the sender field to add my generated disguised e-Mail address?

To create an extra account for the generated address is not a feasible solution for me.

You don't need to generate a new account. But you do need to add your made-up address as an additional identity. Pick an existing account, open its settings and go to Manage Identities to add the made-up address.
