have downloaded firefox on new laptop it fails to open any sites. Went back to IE and that too failed to open. removed firefox and IE works did this 2x. what is
Hello I just bought a new laptop and downloaded Firefox and installed it. I tried to go ahead and use it and no web site would open, it would say connecting.... I then went back to IE and that too would not open any website. I uninstalled Firefox and IE now works again. I did this twice and the same results. Using Win 8.1 and Internet Explorer 11 I hope you can help thank you

hi billlty, which security software are you using? sometimes such issues are caused by a firewall which doesn't recognize & therefore blocks new firefox versions. please remove all program rules for firefox from your firewall and let it detect the new version of the browser again.
