I cannot receive email because Inbox is full? which is not full..
ISP Telfort Webmail works but I cannot receive email through Thunderbird ! Yesterday I received 7 emails 1/2 hour later I could not receive email. The message I receive as follows:
"Postbox is full and cannot receive any more email, please remove old email to make room for new email ".
Can someone please help to resolve this?

Did you right click the inbox folder and select Compact like suggested above. If not you have not deleted anything.

Is that a message from the server? Is that the exact error message? I doubt it actually says 'Postbox'.
This does not sound like a message generated by Thunderbird. Have you logged into your account at your provider web mail page to see what your folders look like there? You might be surprised at what you find.
As for Thunderbird and deleting messages, pressing delete just hides the message and tags it for deletion. It is not permanently removed until you Compact the folder. Just because your inbox looks empty, if you have not compacted the folder they are all still taking up space.

In other words the Inbox is full and I cannot receive new email. Remove old or unwanted messages to make room for more messages.

I have checked and removed nearly all email from my webmail. I have emptied the trashcan and I have 4gb of space allocated and have about 1.5 gb in use.
