Why have amazon prime videos stopped working with firefox and how can I fix it?. It was working last week and suddenly stopped. Now all attempts to play videos are met with a permanent Amazon hourglass.

I use WhatsApp Web with Firefox on macOS and WhatsApp on my iPhone. The sync doesn't seem to be working properly here.

When I receive a message and mark it as read via WhatsApp Web, the message remains unread on my iPhone. If I use WhatsApp Web via Safari, the problem doesn't occur. Marked as read on WhatsApp Web = marked as read on the iPhone.

How can I solve this problem?

Opening sites from other apps in the prefered browser (set to Firefox, 158.0.2 Build #2016191575) will often result in the page being blank and not loading.

This is not specific to pages as copying the url and opening it in a new tab loads the page in the expected way. It is especially annoying with payments and so on. I have attached a screenshot of what the blank page of a link I opend from another app looks like. My end device is a Samsung A54.

Again this is an issue with Firefox only! Not the websites, other browser load links from other apps normally.

My att currently home page is screwed up from your latest firefox update. The main news display is blank and all the news displays are small and all stacked up on one side.

Google Sheets and Docs are not loading properly. They show their content while loading, and then go all black. I have attached an image. I added a link to the video, not sure if discord cdn will work though for embeds here.

The data is still there, just not visible.

I did see that older, similar issues were fixed with light mode, so I tried that. Same issue, but instead of going all black, it goes all white. Turning off extensions has not fixed this either. This has only been happening since the last firefox update; unsure if causal or coincidental. It also happens only on google services except drive itself.

Prime Video is unusable on Firefox since the latest two updates. The website freezes. Videos don't run. When I change the settings as has been suggested either the problem remains the same, with lack of loading, or videos are unavailable. I have read and done whatever has been mentioned in the past, so my only conclusion is that Firefox does not support Amazon Prime Video, as well as the Amazon website. The option I have now if I want to watch Prime Video is to run it on Safari. I look forward to Firefox fixing this issue. I just want it to work as it had done in prior updates. I don't need to continue to alter settings when it is obvious, to me at least, the problem doesn't lie with the settings, because none of them work. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Since I updated Firefox my Twitch and Kick websites wont load the video. The chat work but video and sound wont start.

I tried it in chrome and there it works so something happend after the new update.

I made a Mozilla account to post on this forum as this has been a puzzling conundrum. I am using Chrome temporarily (oh no!)

A friend of mine made a tool that uses Godot engine on web, and it requires WebGL2. About a month ago, I never ran into any issues using Firefox and I was able to complete an entire project using this site that used WebGL2. 2 weeks ago, I logged into the website and was prompted with an error.

Error The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: WebGL2 - Check web browser configuration and hardware support

Firefox was not loading WebGL2. I opened https://get.webgl.org/webgl2/ and got another error.

Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL2, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card.

At the time I was running an older version of my NVIDIA graphics because I had experienced instability on my graphics card with the latest version, so I went to go install the latest version of my drivers. (ver. 617.42)

I then go to try both websites again, my friends' site, and https://get.webgl.org/webgl2/ . Both give the same error.

So I'm not really sure why, but I can't use any WebGL2 stuff on my Firefox install after fully deleting everything and reinstalling, it only works on Chrome. Please let me know what I can do to troubleshoot this because I actively want to use Firefox as my main browser. Lately, whenever I delete emails from my Google Mail and close Firefox within a minute or two, the emails are not deleted.

Firefox didn't use to be this way. Have changes been made to the software?

dear sir, in amazon.uk the page of prime video freezes. I am unable to access any of the contents in the page. I am however able to close the page but not go back.

I have trouble logging in to the OHiobar.org website of which I am a member. I can open the website, but when I click on login, it never opens. It seems to time out. I'm wondering if there is some security feature in Firefox preventing it from opening. I'm not having that problem with other similar websites that I am a member of

Just started happening a few days ago. On Lifepoints (lifepointspanel.com) , surveys used to be accessible for one to do. Starting a few days ago , that changed and all now come back with "Try a different survey". No changes on my end. Support at the site indicates it is a browser issue. Any clues? Been using FF all along and it is up to date.

For years I could sign in easily to my email account by accessing spectrum.net. Recently I could not sign in as previously but received a repeated message from Spectrum: "We're sorry, somethng didn't work quite right. Please try again from home or contact us for asitance. IDID-4049" I was using my home iMac desktop. I contacted Spectrum and was elevated to an engineer to trouble shoot my issue. They were not able to help me. I subsequently tried using FireFox trouble shooting mode and was able to connect with spectrum.net. However the normal non-trouble shooting mode still generated the same "We're sorry..." message from spectrum. I had allowed pop-ups, etc using the FireFox "Privacy and Security" settings.

I'm using Firefox on a Mac, and I'm having trouble dragging screenshots from my desktop into ChatGPT. I can upload images using the "+" button. Dragging and dropping images works in other browsers. In Firefox, dragging images into ChatGPT is unreliable or stops working. I have tried restarting Firefox and disabling add-ons, but the problem persists. I also tested a private window.

Could you help me identify the cause and suggest a solution?

For some inexplicable reason, when I visit any Wikipedia page (as of Thursday 8th October 2026), the pages display with a huge oversized font that also impacts the format and layout of the page in my browser. I have not made any adjustments on my PC to increase font display size. Wikipedia is the ONLY website that displays in this manner.

I am running Firefox 115.42.0esr (64-bit), which appears to indicate Firefox is up-to-date on my Windows 8.1 desktop PC. Please note that I am still running Windows 8.1 on this device out of choice.

I reported the fault initially to Wikipedia itself, and the response is that any fault is at my end. I have visited the same Wikipedia pages via Chrome Version 109.0.5414.168 (Official Build) (64-bit) and the pages display normally.

I have attached a sample screenshot to illustrate.

Any ideas how I can resolve this issue please?
