I'm running Firefox 153.1 64-bit on Windows 11 Pro 25H2. I have a LOT of bookmarks. Possibly over 3,000. Somehow over time I've managed to create a LOT of bookmarks in the Other Bookmarks folder unintentionally. I need to move and merge those to the correct Bookmarks Menu and ideally eliminate any dupes. Everywhere I look for a process to accomplish this I seem to get a lot of "can't be done". Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks for any help.

My question is how do I temporarily remove my bookmarks. I have many bookmarks, hundreds, and I want to disable them temporarily for a few days so they can't be seen by another person using my computer. How can I disable them, but then make them all reappear a few days later? Can someone help? Appreciate the help. Thank you.

i cant save any bookmarks , as i seem to be blocked by something in firefox , i have rest , refreshed fire fox and i have uninstalled and reinstalled , still have the same problem

Roughly one third of my bookmarks all changed to sites I have visited recently. They still have the same labels, but when I click on them, they just take me to some random site I've visited recently.

i have saved initial searches i did in firefox as bookmarks in the bar under the search bar. i have now setup a seaparate bookmark folder to save these website bookmarked links into. if i reopen each of the initial bookmarks and save the link using the blue star process into the new bookmark folder i created, will that link become permanent? and can i then delete the initial links that sit on my firefox under the address bar and the newly saved links in the new bookmarks folder be still available?

All of a sudden I cannot save bookmarks. Neither the instruction "To bookmark a page, just click on the star in the address bar." or using the "Bookmark Current tab..." in the Bookmarks menu do anything. Trying either method just sits there and does nothing.

I have lost my Bookmarks toolbar. It is present in Manage Bookmarks but the toolbar appears blank, with no icons, on the main page.

I have gone thro all the advice here to no effect.

Hi. The message "For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. Manage bookmarks..." has appeared at the top of my Firefox window. I don't think it's been there for more than a couple of days, so it must have been added by a recent update. I already have my bookmarks available just fine, so is there a way to get rid of the message? Thanks!

There is a section called "Recent bookmarks", which appears after clicking on the 'Bookmarks' button in the browser sidebar. My problem with it is that it appears automatically, and it cannot be hidden, removed, or minimized; and shows all the recent bookmarks saved or imported to firefox. I feel very uncomfortable using the browser with such a feature. I would tell you that I switched to Firefox from Apple's Safari browser; and one of the reasons for such move was this same problem in that browser. I'm using the latest version of firefox browser v 152.0.5 (64-bit), on macbook pro m4 running latest macOS. Please help if you can how to either hide or remove the "Recent bookmarks" or please consider adding the capability for the user to do so, in the next browser update.

Firefox iOS 152.3 (73911) default bookmark folder names aren’t always displayed correctly. If you access your bookmarks you correctly see “Unsorted Bookmarks”, “Bookmarks Toolbar” and “Bookmarks Menu”. However, when you go these folders, the title changes to “unfiled”, “toolbar”, and “menu”.

I keep a lot of bookmarks, organized into folders. Many of those folders are in my bookmarks toolbar. And many of subfolders. When I click a folder (and subfolder), bookmarks present themselves from top to bottom in order of when they were added. But I'd like to see them in order of when they were last added! ...so the most recently added bookmark is the first option I see. Is there a way to achieve? Thanks in advance!
