Why won't the Bookmarks menu stay sorted after you sort and close the page?

Newly added bookmarks go to the bottom of the list. The page will sort A to Z when clicking on the sort icon.. When you leave the sort page and go back in the newly added bookmarks go back unsorted to the bottom of the page.

Sorting via the Views menu in the Library only shows the bookmarks in the chosen sort order and doesn't change them permanently (hence the Views name of that menu).
Clicking on the header does the same.
If you want to sort bookmarks then you need to right-click a folder and use "Sort By Name" to sort that folder. You can't sort individual bookmarks, only folder can be sorted that way.

hello WHT13, right-click (or hold the control-key and click) on a bookmark folder and select sort by name.
