Newspaper ads cover up the text of the article in Firefox but Chrome must be used to veiw the entire articles.
I'm running Windows 7 on a new Dell Inspiron tower. When I try to read news articles using firefox which have advertising near the bottom, the ads cover up and obscure the news article text. I have to use Google Chrome to view the newspapers because this problem does not exist in Chrome.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

The problem may be in the website itself so you could try notifying the webmaster about it
