I have been looking for the solution for over two years. I am frustrated!!

I have four Android devices. All of them get wiped at least once a week. I have to reinstall Firefox which isnt the big problem, but I am getting VERY tired of resetting up Firefox each and every time with my extensions preferences etc. Titanium Backup does not always work especially when going from one build to the other. I have tried so many things it is not funny. I have zipped my whole Firefox file in /data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla/DEFAULTPROFILE and then wiped, reinstalled Android and then tried to replace the new default profile with the extracted files from above backup.

This does not work... except for restore my bookmarks.

My INTENT is to help make FF better because I try to use it as heavily and possible so that I can try the new extensions and provide feedback as extensively as possible.

Does anyone have a few tricks to try? Seriously most people do not do what I do... but I need to make this work. Tonight I wiped my G1, G2, Kindle Fire and Droid Incredible and reinstalled new ROMS on each of them... and then found myself having to set up Firefox on each of them... and it took so long! Like 2 hours of installing extensions and trying to tinker and rebooting and reinstalling. Really... there must be a way. Thanks.

Have you tried setting up Firefox Sync to automatically copy your bookmarks, preferences, and history to the device after Firefox is installed? For instructions see Use Sync to share your Firefox bookmarks, passwords and more with Firefox for mobile

What if I don't have a desktop to sync with? Desktop firefox is different from mobile firefox. Not all the xpi files are avail.

At the moment you will need to use a desktop computer one time to create your sync account. But after you have connected one mobile device to your account, you can use that mobile device to connect other devices to your account. (Or you can use your email, password, and recovery key to log into your account.) Your sync account will sync your mobile settings/bookmarks/addons to each of your mobile devices.
