after downloading a movie if i exit the download list i cant get the movie to play when i go back to download list.even if i right click it wont open.any ideas??
following a download the movie plays no problem,but if i exit and try to go back to retrieve the movie from the download list it wont open for me.even when i right click the option to open wont work.have downloaded same movie 3time with the same result every time

Upgrade your browser to Firefox 8 and check
If Open and Open Containing Folder in the right-click context menu in the Download Manager window are grayed then that means that the file is no longer in the original download location.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
