Firefox was working fine early this morning. Since then it keeps crashing before totally opening. How long before a fix happens.

Oh it looks like it's due to Trusteer Rapport. Try uninstalling that program.

Hi. We can't look up the crash reports that have been sent without the Report ID. These instructions will show you how to get that even if Firefox won't open.

With each crash a report was sent in with the pertinant info.

Hi Saphrar, when you send Mozilla a crash report it just puts it in a giant database. We have no way of looking it up without the Report ID. I have no idea what is wrong without looking up the crash report.

  1. Get the Report ID of your latest crash report:
    • If you can open Firefox, at least in Safe Mode:
      1. In the Firefox Location bar, type about:crashes and hit Enter. A page listing submitted crash reports will appear.
      2. Right-click on the latest crash under Report ID and choose Open Link in New Tab. A tab will open to a page on crash-stats.mozilla.com, saying that "Your report is being processed". When it is finished processing, close the report tab.
      3. Copy that Report ID and paste it on this page.
    • If you can't open Firefox because it crashes at startup even in Safe Mode:
      1. Press the Windows key and R on your keyboard to bring up the Run dialog.
      2. Type in "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted" including the quotation marks and click OK.
      3. In the resulting folder will be a text file for each crash report you have submitted. Using the View menu, arrange them by date to find out which is the newest file; and double-click on it to open it.
      4. Copy that Report ID and paste it on this page.
