what settings do i need to change on firefox to allow me to access my work main frame from my home pc

I have been granted access by my workto their main frame so i can work from home. They have sent me the link to my email but when i try to access it firefox wont allow it to open. One of my colleges at work said i needed to change my settings on my internet firefox i am unsure what i need to change and how i am ment to change settings. I need to know what settings i need to change and how to allow me access to my works main frame from my laptop at home.

Do you need to access that site via a proxy or is that lust an HTML page and you need to login?

You can find the connection settings in "Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection"
