I cannot open a program or access a cd?

I had been using a CD that came with a course from delmar learning since August, last week I tried to open program and nothing happened, I have not been able to open the program on C drive or access the cd in D drive? not sure why. Not sure if the problem is with Firefox or something else. We use Firefox for class at Richland College, there is at least one other student having the same problem.
