I am learning to play bass guitar with an interactive lesson package from truefire. It has an option to view the tabulature (tabs) via *.ptb files. These are associated to the application TabView. The lessons are in a flash format, with buttons to view the various charts & tabs. When I click to see the tab sheet, Firefox opens a blank tab, {FF viewing tab}, & then asks to save / cancel the file *.ptb. As it is right now, I have to save the file, {even though it is already on my drive}, then open the finder & then open the file in TabView. I should be able to tell Firefox to just open the file directly in the application, but I cannot find how to add it in the app. associations of the pref. window.
