Tools -> Add-Ons
Then find the Integrated Gmail addon and click Disable. You will need to restart Firefox for it to take effect.
I have he same problem with 6.6 and XP. Love Firefox bu his has to go if I can't get emails. Never and issue with all previous versions.
IT pisses me off why??
