I have two email addresses on Thunderbird: [redacted] @gmail.com and [redacted] @gmail.com which I use regularly. Recently, when trying to open these accounts, I have found that I am unable to do so but that when I click on the Thunderbird icon, I get a mall box with various symbols on it, none of which helps to open my inboxes. I think we're going to need a screen shot. I can't picture it, and it sounds like nothing I've heard of before. Also: 

- What version of Thunderbird?

- What is your operating system?

- Are these IMAP accounts or POP3?

- What error messages do you see, if any? Please quote them precisely and in full. Screen shots would suffice.
