How can I import address book from desktop to mobile thunderbird without putting them in my phone's contacts?

I have a lot of saved address and want to import them from desktop to mobile. All I can find is instructions to add them to my device phone contacts.

That is a no go. I do not want all those in phone contacts as they are irrelevant to phone and too many and too much clutter.

How do I get those into thunderbird ONLY not into phone's contacts?

If no possible can someone recommend a mobile email client that can do this?

Please provide more information on what you want the final result to be. You state you want to import contacts but not as contacts. If it's just for reference, you could convert the export into a document and store that.
