新しいパソコンにサンダーバードをダウンロードしてメールの送受信はできるようになったのですが、受信したメールを削除するとごみ箱に入らずに消えてしまいます。ゴミ箱に貼るように設定するにはどうすればよいでしょうか？

I downloaded Thunderbird to my new computer and can now send and receive email, but when I delete an email I received, it disappears without going into the recycle bin. How do I set it up so that it sticks in the recycle bin?
Who is the mail provider? Do the deleted messages appear in webmail? Maybe you haven't subscribed to the correct folder (IMAP accounts), and set the target for deleted messages in Account Settings/Server Settings.
