import logins, passwords from waterfox
tried to import logins etc from waterfox, but pull down list does NOT include waterfox, many others tho, so how can this be done without having to jump thru too many hoops

This does not sound like an issue with Firefox but is something that the Waterfox support team should be able to help you with.

1 Firefox... Mozilla account on all devices and versions of Fire & Waterfox.
Export your logins to a .csv file from W then import them into Firefox. To enable importing, enter about:config in the address bar and change the following preference to true. You may have to restart the browser. The option to import will then appear when you click the 3 dots top right of Passwords. signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled
