My Firefox brower is crashing alot recently.
Hello,
My Firefox browser is crashing a lot after the recent updates. Not really sure what is causing the crashes but anytime I open any websites or try to do some work on the browser is resulting into unexpected crash. I have submitted several crash reports, but haven't had any solutions to the problem.
here the is one crash report: bp-921f5f10-a9ed-48d3-a1b4-f85680221122, bp-0abebf94-c5df-4a41-b9e3-9af8f0221122.
Can you please help us troubleshoot the issue and provide us with a solution if any?
Thanks Nishil

Hmmmm, this is the same crash reason. Crashing modules "RelayCam", "libVtcComLib.dylib" and "libavCam.dylib" are still registered in your device.
Can you open about:third-party and find anything of these?
PS try to find it in /Library/CoreMediaIO/Plug-Ins/DAL

This is an issue with a cameras related plugin that crashes when it initializes (Solstice Conference Camera). The crash is restricted to the latest MacOS 13 release. Since our cameras code is currently running in the parent process, this results in a browser crash. The issue also impacts Chrome.
We've reached out to the company and filed a issue ticket, and they indicated they are looking at it. We'll keep pushing there in the hope that they push an update with a fix.
If I uninstall Solstice Conference Camera from my laptop would that resolve this problem? I am not using Solstice Conference Camera on regular basis anyways.
Please advise.
Even after the uninstalling the Solstice Conference Camera, I am still experiencing crashing. Is there any workaround you can offer? Here the latest crash report: bp-921f5f10-a9ed-48d3-a1b4-f85680221122

You can try to remove the RelayCAM.plugin that shows in the module list of the crash report.
Thank you TyDraniu and cor-el for providing the solution. After the removing the RelayCAM.plugin from the library it resolve the problem.
I had the same problem and I followed your chosen solution and renamed RelayCam.plugin to RelayCam.plugin_old - it doesn't crash anymore.
