Firefox account not showing on firefox, even though I successfully log in

When trying to log-in to the firefox android app on a new phone, I am able to log into my firefox account in the firefox browser.

But for some reason the browser itself is not recognizing that I am logged in and just keeps telling my to log-in to sync. I am logged-in in the tabs however. I tried searching for a similar issue but I could not find anything.

Hi

Yes, you are viewing your account settings on the web, but you have not connected Firefox for Android to Firefox Sync.

If you tap on the menu item, and follow the prompts from there, you will be signed into Firefox Sync.
