Firefox on iPhone link bookmarks et all from Safari

I am having major problems trying to get Firefox to run on my iPhone.

I use it as my primary browsers on my MacBook and all my bookmarks are syn from Safari.

On my iPhone Safari has been my only browsers

I have been trying to use Firefox but can NOT get Book Marks or passwords to load or transfer either from the iPhone safari or Mac Book FireFox

HELP this is crazy and must be an easy answer

In the Firefox Sync settings in Firefox on your desktop, are bookmarks and passwords set to be synced?

Ate you signed into the same account on both devices?
