TB 91.6.1 (64bit) in Windows 10 prompts for password up to three times in one session. Believe passwords migrated into (or were left) in wrong file during a prior upgrade. Where should it be and how do I get them there? Should I remove TB entirely and reinstall -- have done that at a "safe" level without success. If I totally remove TB, what files should I try to back up and restore after reload? And how to do so? Thanks, Rob Hodin [removed email from public]

Are the passwords stored in Preferences/Privacy & Security, Saved Passwords? All password data can be reset by opening the profile from Help/More Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, closing TB, and deleting or renaming logins.json, key4.db and cert9.db. They are recreated when TB restarts and you enter your credentials in the password prompt. Check the box in the prompt to store them in Saved Passwords.

It would help to know the mail providers, in case more than a regular password is required to authenticate.
