Restarted laptop because of wifi connection problems. Now, my access is blocked by a firefox breathing dragon logo for which NONE OF MY PASSWORDS WORK!! Why and how do I get in?

You have got to post a screenshot of this one! ;-))
There is no firefox breathing dragon logo.
You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no
Run most or all of the listed free to use malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
That's why I definitely want to see this one! ;-))
