Hi. I have updated Firefox to the latest version (79.0, 64bit) on Windows 7 SP1 x64. WebRender is said to be supported by all Intel GPUs now. I have a somewhat old Core i3 530 that I'm using right now. Here's some of my about:support info: https://i.ibb.co/JzPx8SJ/aboutsupport.jpg Plus my about:config gfx.webrender.all preference seems to be set to false

Does somebody have reliable info on this? What are the officially supported Intel GPUs? Thank you.

I don't know if your Windows 7 platform is supported.
You can check the Graphics section on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page.

Isn't this Mozilla info reliable? https://wiki.mozilla.org/Platform/GFX/WebRender_Where I'm in the "Windows 7, no battery, medium screen, Intel" category. I'm not sure how to read that table, but it seems to me that it should work.

Yes, you can test it out on Win7.

Bug 1645412 enables it in Beta, it's a good sign. If anything wrong happens, just flip the pref back in a Safe mode.

OK, thanks. It's just that I thought that the corresponding pref would be enabled by default. So not being enabled by default in my case makes me think that there's a problem somewhere.

No, it's still disabled by default in a release version on Win7.
