Firefox blank after update to V73. Reset and reinstall havent fixed.

Windows 10 1909. Firefox recently updated to V73. At first the consent.exe was continuously trying to load that has now stopped but the browser will not load anything at all. All the tabs remain blank and this is also the case starting it in safe mode. Its been reinstalled a few times but no change.

Hi phil,

we received a number of similar reports about Firefox on Win10, running in a compatibility mode with win7. Can you check compatibility settings in firefox.exe properties?

That's done it. It had set itself to Windows 7 compatibility mode! All working now thanks.
