Synced bookmarks out of order

I have two Windows computers that I want to sync bookmarks between. I turned on Sync for my desktop computer, then turned it on for my laptop. The bookmarks copied over to the laptop, but they are in some random order instead of the same order they were on the desktop. Is it possible to preserve the order when syncing? I made a bookmark backup before trying this so I can easily restore it and try again.
