Windows 7 Home Premium /SP1 64-bit Firefox 52.0.1 (32-bit)

I see that my Firefox on my computer is 32 bit and I have a 64-bit system. Should my Firefox be changed?

2nd question:

I used to be able to smoothly scroll, using the app "Smooth Scroll". Suddenly I could no longer do this beginning a few weeks ago.

I deleted Smooth Scroll, planning to reinstall it. I find that it apparently no longer exists, and instead added "Yet Another Smooth Scrolling".

No improvement.

I've used Firefox for years without this problem.

Scrolling up/down a webpage by putting my cursor on the vertical bar on the right of the page is a nightmare now - it moves in herky-jerky motions.

Please help.

Hi, most people use 32bit FF on a 64bit Windows system, but it's a personal choice, so if you want to change it you can - How do I tell if I have the 32-bit or 64-bit Firefox?

Make sure smooth scrolling is enabled in Options > Advanced (general).

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

I'll stick with the 32-bit Firefox I use. Just was wondering if that was an issue - apparently not.

"Make sure smooth scrolling is enabled in Options > Advanced (general)."

It is already.

What can I do for the un-smooth scrolling problem?

PS - The problem occurs on web pages - not on text files (offline) which scroll smoothly top to bottom, as web pages used to.
