I uninstalled Side Tab, but now none of my tabs appear anywhere, though are still active. How can I get them to display in the tab bar? Vr 48.0.2

My open tabs do not appear in the tab bar now that I've removed the Side Tab add-on. I know that they are still active because I get the warning about closing all of them if I attempt to close the browser window. The 'new tab' symbol does not appear anywhere, either.

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar. Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

That returned a "not valid" error message.

That is odd. Right-click on the toolbar. A menu should come up. This is a list of the toolbars. At the bottom is Customize.

Access to the toolbars doesn't help, nor did restoring the defaults.
