Firefox 40.0 crashes every time as it starts to open
My computer (iMac running Yosemite 10.10.3) automatically updated to Firefox 40.0 on closing down yesterday evening. This morning it has crashed every time as it starts to open and reinstalling it does not make any difference.

hi john, based on a lot of recent reports by other mac os x users, i'm just going to guess, that this might be caused by trusteer rapport. if you're a user of that program, please see if there's an update available for it or else keep it stopped/uninstalled for the moment.
