I deleted the Calendar icon by mistake and I don't know how to rescue it. The App works in background but I don't have any icon on the screen.

I've a GeeksPhone Revolution with Firefox OS version: 1.3.0.0-prerelease. I searched the default Calendar App in the MarketPlace but I didn't found it. I swiped between the screens but there isn't no Calendar icon. It appears if I search "Calendar" it in the "search section" of the first screen but I can't move out of the "search section".

Thanks

Hi Flops,

You should not be able to delete a system application such as Calendar in the same manner that users can remove applications downloaded from the Marketplace.

After reviewing the information that you provided, we think that the best way to fix this issue would be to reset your device.

Warning: Resetting your phone will delete all data stored on the device, including apps, calendar data, email accounts, and settings.

To reset the device, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the Settings App (small) Settings application.
  2. Tap on the Device Information button.
  3. Tap on the More Information button.
  4. Tap on the Reset phone button.
  5. Tap OK to reset your device.

You may also contact the Geeksphone Support Channels directly so that they may investigate if there is a device-specific issue with their Revolution phones.

We hope that this fixed the issue you were having. Please report back to us if this helped!

Thanks for your answer. I'm sure that a reset will solve the problem, but it's hard to restore all the apps and data inside. Is there any other idea that could work?

Thanks

Yes, I did it and it worked. Now I've the Calendar icon on the main screen.
