I am not able to download videos from Facebook or you tube to my desktop while using Firefox. My default is Klite standard worked as of yesterday not all i see is the icon for klite standard not the video it self. and i do not see it in the application on the generals tab. it is messed up i even tried windows media player and that as well did not work. all the video download fail . so meting is very wrong. I even re installed firefox and that did not help. i will try and explain this better. when i go to you tube and try and down load a video to my desktop using Fire fox all i see is the out line of the video the video does not come up. see the attachmentsbold text

We have an application running on Firefox and noticed that with new Firefox ESR, Ajax call (XMLHttpRequest ) from js script running on Firefox browser on thin clients seems to be blocked frequently (same call succeed most of the time, but blocked from time to time). Issue was raised starting with Firefox 128.2.0esr), but in general persist with newer Firefox ESR. We tried replacing XMLHttpRequest with fetch which seems making no much difference so far.

I would like to be able to download YouTube videos.

Is there a Firefox add-on that will allow me to download YouTube videos onto my MacMini?

I tried Video DownloadHelper and YouTube Video Downloader and didn't see any action.

Do I need to setup settings a certain way to make it work?

What are the steps to make it work?

I had to reset windows 11, all my files were kept ,including the history in firefox but the bookmarks of 10 years of work were deleted. I tried to restore it but there is no old version in my computer after the reset. iI am vey sad. please contact me in [email address] for help thank you

I love Foxfire and have supported you for years but am now past 80, been relocated to a senior living complex and can not figure out how to get back on line with the services available here after hooking me up to Spectrum....HELP!!bold text

bold text I am using Eprisa Saturn. We have a client who's name is MJ, with no spaces and no periods and both capital letters. No matter what I do, I cannot get the computer to print it as MJ. It always prints it as Mj. If I put a space, it prints correctly, but the client is insistent that there be no space. She mentioned that there might be a way to override this. Can anyone help?

I have set E:\ as my default download location. However in some cases Firefox does not respect my choice and silently downloads stuff to C:\Users\Name\Downloads. I really hate this. One example, a pdf downloaded from here https://scribd.vpdfs.com/. Please fix it. Thx.

I own a Samsung Fold 5 phone. I have set the outer display used when the phone is folded to 300dp. The inner unfolded width is set to 601dp.

Up until very recently, when I folded or unfolded my phone, websites would resize. Often switching between layouts made for phones and layouts made for tablets or desktops. This still happens in Chrome. But no longer does in Firefox. Instead the site has the same resolution in both modes, making the text too small to read when folded. This effectively makes Firefox unusable unless I unfold my phone. Please make Firefox respect the resolution I have set for each mode again so I can view websites at a width of 300px in folded mode like I used to.

Note I have the slider for "desktop site" turned off. When I try to turn it on, nothing happens. The slider doesn't activate and the resolution does not change. (But the page does reload.) This used to give me the option of 3 different resolutions for my screen, (300 folded, 601 unfolded, and something like 1024 in desktop mode.) I'm not sure if desktop mode is permanently turned on now, or if the phone is set to permanently use 601 width, but it is definitely not using the 300 width I used to get when folded. The desktop mode slider is to the left and will not change.

I opened site settings and turned off always request desktop site and nohing changed. I am still unable to get the 300 width site I need to be able to use Firefox on a folded phone.

Hello, I used to have access to two different universities' databases and repositories – MAU and SU – but my SU access recently expired. I think the two universities use the same search platform. Now, when I try to search via MAU, I get automatically redirected to the SU results page and am prompted to log into an SU account that is no longer active and valid. I have tried figuring out how to change the settings behind this redirection but I have no more ideas about what may be causing it or where I should be looking to figure it out.
