Hello, I use Signal spam, but sometimes I make a mistake because of the changing place of buttons, I declare spam some mails which are not, because of the changing place of buttons :

- If I select one mail, the signal-spam button, is the last button at right ("SIGNALER") - if I select several mails, the last button at right is the delete button ("Supprimer") see screen pictures joined. In a quick operation, without changing mouse position, If I first delete some mails in a lot, and just after, want to delete an individual mail, it happens that my click is to signal it as a spam, because the mouse stayed at the same place. It seems that the place of buttons is not adjustable. Maybe that I should only use the signal button in the mail tools bar and not the more local button. Suppress this local button could be also a solution.

Hello, I install TBsync and connect it to my nextcloud server. I have now 4 contacts tabs in my address book: Personal address book, gathered contacts, Nextcloud contacts, Nextcloud last contacted. I cannot copy or move my contacts to new folders. Regards, Przemek

When assigning multiple actions to a email filter, what is the policy if one of the actions fails? Does it continue to try the next action, or does the filter stop? For example, I have a filter configured to match all emails from user@company.com, and the first action is to forward it to myself@different.address.com, and then delete the email. If the forward fails because it can't reach the Outgoing SMTP server, will it skip that action and proceed to delete the email, or will it stop when the forward action fails?

All signatures in my emails start with a double dash or double hyphen, like this: -- It really doesn't look very professional, and I would like to remove it or alter it. How can I do this?

I am using Thunderbird 78.6.1 (32-bit) on a Windows 10 machine. The problem described below is about the contents of my emails. I can see the list of emails without any problem. 1. When I read email in my inbox, I have no problems--white background and black text. 2. When I try to read email in my Sent folder, every email I have (both recent and old) is just a black box, as if I had a black background and black text. 3. When I forward a text, I can see almost none of it. Most of it is blank space, as if it was white fonts on white backgrounds. I have tried going to Tool-> Options-> and fiddled with the Fonts & Colors but nothing I change it to consistently solves the problem. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you!

Hello, last year I donated money for Thunderbird, I thought it was a good idea. Today: Idea well meant, but badly done. At least for lay users. I have "moved" my "old" mails for backup. I, a layman, did not understand the compression. All old emails and address books have been deleted and can no longer be found. In the help, my search yields 1255 results in 125 pages. No result contains even a single word of my search. 95% results in English. It's unreasonable, felt stupid. As I said, I am a layman and not a professional programmer. Do I really have to switch to Microsoft? Disappointed greets Norbert

Hi, I have run thunderbird for a long time and the program is ok. But many things are NOT ok. Example. There is no choice in the menu or setup there you can choice web browser. And i'am really mad at windows EDGE i hate that program. And i 1 time manage to delete that shitt program Windows EDGE and get in firefox as the web browser in thunderbird. But after some weeks this windows EDGE come in the computer again and have manage to be the web browser in Thunderbird again. And i have try and try and try again and again. But there is no way to set up a other web browser in Thunderbird that is sad because i like thunderbird. So if i can't change this i we stop using thunderbird and get some other E-Mail program who is easy to set up the web browser i will have in my E-Mail program. Because this is Toooo.... difficult to do. And WHY is that so difficult when other things is so more easy inThunderbird.?????

I need some answer on this. I have also donate money to mozilla before so maybe i can get some help to.

I have not been able to successfully add a ProtonMail account to Thunderbird. I followed the ProtonMail instructions for how to configure Thunderbird, but when I tested the connection, Thunderbird failed to connect to the ProtonMail server. I used 127.0.0.1 as the servername and doublechecked my protonmail username and password, which were both correct. Can anyone help me with this issue?

When I delete an email on my iphone or Thunderbird, I want the email to automatically delete in the other format.

For example, if I delete an email to Trash on my IPhone, I want it to automatically delete to Trash in Thunderbird. Also, if i delete an email while on Thunderbird, I want the same email to delete to Trash on my IPhone.

How do I set the above up?

im guesing if i can      add a tag number  to  each email   to create a  index     if this way  i can retrieve  
 i can come back easrch the email    using the number     add into the body of the  email  ,
  can  anybody have and idae if that  work  , or other solution  less inferior

I'm getting a lot of spam in Thunderbird from senders with long and highly repetitive nonsense addresses? I think a filter for the sender's address "contains 150 wild card characters" would work but I've not found a way to do this. Does such a wild card character exist in the filter? Is there another way to do this?

I've noticed that many spams use code "=?UTF-8" in the field "from" or "subject"

I tried to add the filter, but it has no effect.

I use filters to sort my emails into different folders. I like the "new message" notifications, but some of my folders are less important than others and I would rather not be bothered with new message notifications from those folders. Is there any way to configure these notifications to only look at certain folders?
