I have an event yesterday with a notification on Google calendar.

I start up email today. Notification pops up. I cannot dismiss the notification.

I edit the event to remove the notification. On Thunderbird - but it won't save. So I go to Google calendar and remove the notification.

On Google calendar, it says I have no notification for this event. On Thunderbird it will NOT let me remove the notification.

Now every time i open thunderbird, the notification pops up. Short of deleting the event (which I do not want to do because I want a record of it on my calendar), there is NO way to make this stop.

I have had this problem pop up periodically for the last 18 months. (Unfortunately, it's getting bad enough with no fix I will need to find a different email/calendar application).

Any ideas how to fix? (Can we get the bug fixed in the code?)

I currently have two Gmail accounts connected to Thunderbird. If I move a large block of emails (say 600) from Gmail account #1 to Gmail account #2, does Gmail see this as me sending 500+ emails from account #1 (with the result that Gmail will block the sending of emails because I exceed their daily limit)? Or, will it somehow be considered a 'transfer' not subject to the Gmail daily limit? Thanks.

Preliminary: 1. I need to use proxy to visit `gmail.com` 2. The proxy setting in Thunderbird was tried with "Use system," "Auto-detect," and "Manual." but none of these worked. 3. The proxy setting in Firefox works well. (by visiting `gmail.com` and then `mail.google.com` redirected)

Issue:

As shown in the images, neither Account Creation page nor the new Account Hub is working. They found configurations of Gmail in Mozilla ISPDB, but when I pressed 'continue', no popup window appeared, and an failure suddenly occurred (just in several milliseconds): "Authentication error. Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password."

Hello, I am new to this forum, from GDR.

Cannot delete a folder under my Local Folder. I have deleted it several times, and deleted the trash also, but no matter how many times I delete the folder, and restart Thunderbird, it still comes back. Sometimes there is two of the same folder that comes back.

If anyone one can point me to a solution, that would make me happy!!!

All my Thunderbird Calendar events are now gone, I have done nothing to change anything. Microsoft has been playing with my laptop recently to update to Win11. How do i get them back?
