All of the addresses would then be added to BCC in my email to send. Then I could type the message and send it to all without sharing individual email addresses. I can no longer do this. I am using an older version of thunderbird 91.13.1. When I updated it a few years ago, I couldn't find my way around, so I stuck with the old version because it was working for me! "An error occurred while sending mail, The mail server responded: <1234@roadrunner.com> sender rejected. The email address you are sending as must match the email address you used to auth. Please check your SMTP settings, AUP#Out-1500. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again."
I know what that means but I'm very confused because I use and have always used ONE <default> smpte for all my accounts and never had a problem until now. Thunderbird even gives the user a choice of whether to use one default account or separate smpte password statements for each account. I still can't send when I try to enter separate urls and/or passwords for each account. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks, Joe

Hi, I used to run TB sync together with the CalDAV provider addon. I host a nextcloud instance in wich Ihave created some of my own calendars and some calendars wich are hosted in ical format on several servers. Before the update to native CalDAV and on my other devices, I am able to sync with all my calendars. On the new version of TB however, I only see the calendars actually created on the nextcloud instance. Is there a setting I am missing or is this feature just not implemented. Bets Regards

I thought that all my information would be preserved in the various Time Machine backups that I have made. However, all of my local folders containing 18 years' of email correspondece have disappeared. I can only view emails which are stored on the remote IMAP server. I run Thunderbird on a PC, and, to free up space on Drive C:, I have moved the contents of the folder Thunderbird in Appdata to Drive D:. I then changed my Server Settings, in Thunderbird, from C: to D:, and note that any new mail is indeed now appearing there along with those already transferred. This move could save me a valuable 6 gig of space, and more in the future, however, I am unable to remove that original Thunderbird folder entirely, notably I am unable to remove the contents of the Profiles folder, as it is still linked to the application. Notably with cookies.sqlite, cookies.sqlite-shm, store.json, mozlz4, aborted-session-ping and many others, which I note some have continued to be updated. I have been unable to find any other settings in Thunderbird referring to Drive C:, other than those in Server Settings.
I could presume that if I installed another version of Thunderbird on Drive D: and maybe moved those existing contents of the Thunderbird folder on C: onto Drive D:, and made those numerous settings changes to the App it could work. But I ask is there an easier way to complete this move? How can I complete this transition of Thunderbird from Drive C: to Drive D:?

‘An error has occurred while saving your messages. Make sure that the file system gives you write rights and that you have enough free disk space to copy the inbox’.
No problem with webmail.
We have another computer in the office connected to Thunderbird that receives all our emails. All the settings are the same, except that we haven't updated Thundebird.
We use a POP system.

Some time ago Thunderbird changed from downloaded header and message as one, to downloading all the headers and then downloading the message content. At the moment I can access old messages but none that have tried to download this morning.

The mail server responded: <tedcomo@chartertn.net> sender rejected. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again. I have no problem receiving mail. At the same time, my wife began having the same problem on her laptop, which tells me either Charter, or Mozilla, changed something. I started with Charter. They told me to rename both servers to mobile.charter.net (outgoing mail was formerly smpt.charter.net. No effect. They then had me log into Spectrum and send a test mail directly from my account. It went through OK and they said the problem had to be on Mozilla's end. Any suggestions?
