I just open the email and read an article. It is absolutely disgusting.

So I'm posting this here in the hopes that others will join in.

My opinion is simple. Firefox… be a browser. Improve the browser, advance the browser, focus on new and improved features. And please stop the SJW nonsense.

Remember that "woke is broke". You're not doing so great financially. And yet you keep trying to run around playing social justice warrior. Please do better. Just stop.

One time, along time ago, I started spouting off about what I thought about social issues and politics etc. I basically got slapped upside the head and people said "we really don't care what you think. All we care about is what we're here to hear from you about. Nothing more. So stop putting out all these messages." It was a hard lesson for me to learn, but I got it.

I don't care what Mozilla or Firefox thinks about anything political or SJW nonsense. I don't care. I don't want to hear it. I sure don't want to believe that the browser of my choice is involved in all kinds of things that I don't believe in and don't want anything to do with. And worse, that you keep flapping on about it.

What I really want to know, what I really really want to know is... "What have you done for me lately." To quote Janet Jackson. What are you doing that will make my life better with this app? How will this app serve me more effectively? Not what social justice nonsense are you going to push today? I don't care what you believe not one little bit. I care how well my browser works. That's it. Nothing more.

Please stick to business. And don't try to invent that your business is social justice nonsense. It's not. That doesn't pay your bills. That just ostracizes people, alienates people and makes them wish they were to filiated with you.

Think smarter. Do better. Focus on the app. Keep your priorities straight. You are not an employment center for SJW's. You are supposed to be producing a product.

I hope someone with intelligence reads this.

Hi, I've been trying to get Widevine to install on Firefox for a few weeks (,month+ maybe?) but after all this time I'm left with the message Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc. will be installed shortly. I've already tried reinstalling stuff, safe mode, enabling and disabling DRM and all the other stuff to help so at this point I'd just want to do it myself. Can't find any Widevine download or really any way on how to install it manually though, which is where I need assistance on, again I've already resigned to the fact that Widevine autoinstalling through firefox is broken and I'd rather try and do it myself manually. Thank you.

I have no idea how it started or why, but in the past couple days anytime I leave my cursor over a paragraph or chunk of text on a website, a black box appears where my cursor is with the text in it in white. If there is a lot of text, there's a sidebar to scroll down in the box. This disappears as soon as I move my cursor, but reappears as soon as I set it near some more text. I assume this is some kind of accessibility or reading feature, but I have no idea how I turned it or how to get rid of it. I've looked online and in my setting and had no luck getting rid of it. Any help would be appreciated!

Firefox can't load some websites but other browsers can in Windows 10 (version 20H2)

Dear Community,

I have problem with my Firefox version 86.0 (64-bit). I have Windows 10 20H2 64-bit operating system. Firefox can't load some websites. For example I can load https://allegro.pl/ but I have problem sometimes with this website: https://allegro.pl/myaccount/newpayments_incoming.php

If you go there and use F5 key on keyboard (refresh website) sometimes this can't load. On other browser I don't have this issue. This very frustrated me because I can't work. On Windows 10 1909 on older machine (another computer) I don't have this issue with my firefox (this sam 86.0 version). So this is probably problem only with Windows 10 20H2.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open new tab and go here: https://allegro.pl/myaccount/newpayments_incoming.php 2) Log in to your account for Allegro website (without account you can't load website) 3) When website loads normally you must refresh this website (F5 key on keyboard) few times (you must be patient, sometimes this can take some time) 4) When website can't load or it's load partly you can see that this stops loading when it try connect to analytics.google.com so I think that it is very strange behavior.

On other browsers on Windows 10 20H2 version this website works without issue. Only with Firefox I have a problem. On Windows 10 1909 version on another machine I can't notice this issue. Also on Ubuntu I don't have any problems with this website with firefox.

Can you fix it? I can't work on my computer with Windows 10 20H2 system. I musted to switch to another browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge). I contacted with owner of the website but this is not the first problem with Firefox on Windows 10 20H2 so you should fix it. I remember that I had some similar problems on another websites but I don't remember what was address for these websites.

Actual results:

Sometimes I can't load this website on Windows 10 20H2 64-bit: https://allegro.pl/myaccount/newpayments_incoming.php

When website can't load or it's load in a part you can see in the bottom of the browser that this stops when it try connect to analytics.google.com so it is very strange behavior.

This can be not problem only with this website.

Expected results:

I should load this website always: https://allegro.pl/myaccount/newpayments_incoming.php

I hope that you can fix it.

hello there and good evening:3 my husband and i are having this repetitive and extremely frequent bright yellow pop up with a robot that states "a webpage might be slowing down your browser." then the option to wait, or stop it. i've ran out of patience with this notification to the point to where even though i'de hate to, i would have no choice but to switch back to chrome just to stop being spammed by this pop up while im trying to relax. it happens more frequently on youtube and walmart.com, and i just want it to stop because it seems as if when it does show up, once it starts it never stops, and it actually slows down my webpage to the point of becoming unresponsive and stalling/crashing my only webpage open at the time. my husband has the same issue and we both use windows desktop. it only started appearing after the latest update. please, can someone help me make this thing go away? its very stressful and i cant browse in peace anymore on firefox. yes we have turned off all background processes, and we both have scowered settings troubleshooting for hours at a time to no avail, it just never stops and it behaving like a really bad bug.

To outline my setup, I am using Windows 7 Ultimate with Service pack 1. I tried applying a third-party theme to Windows 7 Ultimate, but it didn't work right. So, I reset Windows theme. Then, I tried applying a theme to Firefox itself and it works except for the "x", "minimize", and "maximize" buttons. What is going wrong? It may be a minor problem, but I like things to work right.

When logging on to a website it used to be possible to show the current password that is automatically being input. That is no longer possible it seems so now you have to search the passwords for that website to locate it and then display it that way. But many times the current website is not saved under an obvious name. This makes it next to impossible to locate what used to be right in front of you (current website logon password). The worst is my current case where you lose your gmail password and try to locate it with a search of the passwords but since gmail address is the user name for 100's of websites there are 100's of results to try to find the gmail password. When it comes to Microsoft website there is zero results to Microsoft in the Firefox password search even though Firefox easily logs me in. Why did Firefox stop allowing the user to see the current password being input to websites. if they did not stop that access then I do not know how to do it anymore. Used to be a simple right click on the password field. Then you could go direct to the password manager location of that website.

I save many items and documents as PDF files using the Microsoft Print to PDF option, rather than physically printing on my printer. This worked fine for quite some time. This option no longer works when I am using Firefox, but it still works if I use Chrome.

I would rather not have to switch to Chrome whenever I want to print something to a PDF file.

How can I resolve this?

Firefox 86.0 (64-bit) on macOS

When I start to type the URL for an address I use often, for example bar for barnesandnoble.com, I always get barefootyoga.com as a suggestion. I've never visited this website. It's not in my history. I have no idea what it's popping up when typing bar used to autofill barnesandnoble.

When barefootyoga pops up in the URL as a suggestion, I click SHIFT + DELETE, but barefootyoga appears the next time I type bar. (This is happening for almost all other websites where autocomplete used to work correctly--this is just one example.)

I've cleared all history for all time and restarted browser. Same result. After relaunch, I fully typed barnesandnoble.com and visited the website to get it back in history. I opened a new tab, typed bar, and barefootyoga began to autocomplete

In Preferences, I get the same unwanted result with these settings: Search > Search Suggestions > Disable/renable "Provide search suggestions" Privacy & Security > Address Bar > All check boxes selected except for search engine In about:config, I scanned options for browser.urlbar, but nothing looks like it would resolve this issue

I feel as if I am missing something obvious.

Two days ago, I updated my system memory from 8GB to 16GB. As soon as I did so, on both Fedora 31 and Windows 7, Firefox became extremely unstable - as though it was running out of resources extremely quickly. On Fedora, I cannot browse at all - immediately upon loading a page, the tab crashes, including internal pages. On Windows, I can get away with some browsing - although crashes are still common.

For now, I'm going to disable hardware acceleration. However, I'd like to further analyse this and see if I can't find a fix.

To date, I have tried the following:

- Updated to firefox v86 (This worsened the problem, and I downgraded to v74)

- Removed and reinstalled my GPU drivers (no change)

- Disabled paging on my Windows system, and moved hiberfil.sys to a drive with more space using symlinks (no change)

- Increased swap space on my Fedora system (made things worse. Don't fuck around with swap if you don't know what you're doing, please)

- Moved profiles out of the appdata dir and created a new, blank profile (no change)

- Completed a full round of Memtest+x86 with no issues

Below are a set of six crash logs. There are more, but information overload. They are fairly similar, but I lack the familiarity with the Mozilla codebase to properly examine them.

When being prompt for the primary password, I noticed that I can rapidly and endlessly type random combinations and press enter. There seems to never be any delay between wrong entering of passwords. So it seems that even the most primitive application that would try all possible combinations rapidly, will break the password in few hours for the most. This does not even require any knowledge in hacking. Is this correct or am I missing something? If that is the case, then primary password is only worth when keeping the computer unattended for no more than few minutes.

Often when I open a web page, I have extra words showing, programming words from scripts perhaps, that should not be visible. Often these cover things I do want to see. I've slogged through several upgrades of Firefox but it never seems to get fixed.

This happens only on Firefox; it doesn't appear on Chrome or other browsers I've used, and it isn't isolated to one or two websites, though it doesn't happen on every website. Images attached to illustrate.
