Lorsque je quitte le plein écran sur firefox la partie réduite se met systématiquement en haut à gauche au lieu de retrouver la place que je lui avait donné auparavant. Comment revenir à un état entérieur où ça fonctionnait parfaitement ?

i restarted firefox, and on it's new tab when re-opening it offered the "review checker", so i clicked the "try on amazon" I don't get the icon in my search bar. is it an add-on/extension that i can just search for in the google store even though it's in beta?

When I open Firefox on the desktop computer it automatically opens all of the tabs in bookmarks instead of just a singe page. How can I get it to stop opening all of the bookmarks automatically?

Is it possible to click individual segments of an URL in the address bar to navigate there directly (without manually selecting and deleting the tail)? It's a convenient way to reach upper layers of a website.

For example Vivaldi implements it via Ctrl+<Mouseover/click> (see attached screen capture)

Is there an option or addon to enable this? Thanks in advance

I have manually installed multiple older versions of Firefox for Desktop (Windows 10), as I am translating KB articles and sometimes need any of the twenty latest versions to get screenshots in my language for the translated articles.

When an older version becomes superfluous, I would like to uninstall it from my computer, but that does not work. Even though I see all the older Firefox versions listed in Windows Applications & Features and each of them has an Uninstall button (and a helper.exe file in the uninstall folder in the installation folder each of the versions), the only "action" I see is that I get a warning that the Firefox Helper application is about to make change to the content of my hard drive, and will I allow that? The pop-up asking if I want to refresh Firefox instead of uninstalling, it does NOT appear.

The only time I get a proper response, i.e the Refresh-instead-of-uninstall? pop-up, is when I initiate uninstall of the latest current version of Firefox, in my case Fx132.0.2.

Have anyone else come across this problem?

I’ve noticed that Firefox is draining my Mac’s battery significantly often consuming over 200% of the device’s power. It also prevents my Mac from going to sleep when not in use. Is there a setting I can adjust to improve battery efficiency and ensure that Firefox doesn’t block my device from entering sleep mode? I’d appreciate any guidance to resolve this issue.

You used to have a nice menu bar, with bookmarks easily available. Now it looks like Edge, with bookmarks over on a right hand menu, with multiple clicks needed. I looked for a View option in settings and found nothing, searching on toolbar also comes up empty.

Is there a way to get that old menu bar to show back up?

Autofill Passwords intermittent. One time I go to login on to different websites and autofill works fine the next time nothing. It also seems like every time I open Firefox I have to check the autofill. I like FireFox and I'm trying to get away from another browser that I have no issues with when it comes to autofill. All I want to do is open a website autofill my passwords.

The first image speaks for itself. When I want to change the way this setting is set in a Facebook group, when Firefox is full screen, the associated dialog is so placed and/or sized on the screen that it is partially truncated on the left by the left side of the display. I just checked in MS Edge and it displays normally there with full screen display. It displays normally in Firefox when I Restore Down. So this one at least does seem to be specific to Firefox.

I have a second full screen display issue that may be related, but this one isn't just Firefox; Ms Edge also shows it, and other applications also behave similarly: the right hand scroll bar disappears in full screen (as does the applicaion menu control)! I had some trouble taking a pair of images to illustrate this, using Snipping Tool. The second image, when Firefox is set to restore Down, shows the scroll bar and application menu control, which is what I see. The third image was more tricky to take because the first time I tried, the screen capture included a scroll bar and application menu control even though they were not visible on screen. I had to redo it and be very careful not to let the right hand side of the selection drift off the right hand side of the display.

It seems like the full screen display is just a little "larger" than the physical display. I have tried one or two other screen resolution settings and that has not helped. My best guess is that it's a monitor settings problem, but I've also fiddled with the monitor settings, again with no success. And even if a monitor setting explains the pervasive right hand side issue, it doesn't explain the Facebook dialogue issue, which does appear to be Firefox-specific.

So my current workaround is just not to have anything full screen :(

I have a huge problem with Shortcuts not syncing in the main page. I have my shortcuts organized and pinned how I like it but every single time I sync new machine or mobile, the shortcuts are not being synced and they are completely out of place and sometimes gone on my main machine. This cannot be like that and should be properly synced.

Hi, I have an issue and hopefully an easy challenge, but I need and would appreciate your kind help.

My Windows 10 PC with Firefox Desktop installed has all my bookmarks, passwords, add-ons, configuration entries, etc. I had the unfortunate situation where my PC hard drive boot-up is corrupted, so I am unable to boot into windows. I am though able to access all of the files intact, via a USB Hard Drive dock to read, save, and be able to transfer any files from that non-bootable hard drive to a new install.

I did a new windows install with a brand new hard drive along with Firefox, but I need your help to effectively get all of those files/entries from the old hard drive and my Firefox "profile" transferred into the new drive so I can resume like before, and further back up as necessary. I do understand that I should have logged into my Firefox account and backed it up so it would have been seamless, but I am sorry I didn't.

Can you please help me and advise?

Hi! Every time I try to put through a credit card transaction on Firefox it gives me a "token invalid" or "invalid captcha" error message. The transactions work fine on other browsers. I have signed in to my Firefox with an account, also updated the browser. Still not working.

Any suggestions and explanations?

Today, when I started my pc, the google search engine would not completely load and I could not use the search engine. Now, when I restart my pc, I get an error "server not found". I believe that something at google went awry. Please help me as I rely on my pc for financial and medical issues. I have had problems with google in the past.
