-Win 7 -Firefox To Access Hotmail

Google Chrome and Opera: Hotmail And Live Account Sign-in successful with password only.

Firefox: I enter my Hotmail email address and it states 'We're having trouble locating your account. Which type of account do you want to use?'-Select Work/School or Personal Account.

Personal Account selected with error message 'Please retry with a different device or other authentication method to sign in. Error 400.'

One-time code requested and entered successfully and is the only way to access Hotmai via Firefox.

Steps Taken:

-Hotmail 2-Step Verification is Turned Off. -FF Cookies Are Enabled. -FF JavaScript Is Enabled. -FF Cookies Were Cleared. -No Cookies on the Blocked List. -FF Was Closed And Re-Opened. -Computer Was Shut Down And Restarted. -No FF Extensions Added. -No New Software Installed.

The issue started with GC on Sat morning but resolved this morning. However, the same issue started with FF this morning.

Q: What Hotmail and/or Firefox and/or Win 7 setting(s) need to be changed so that a password is sufficient for sign-in purposes?

I get n error report when I try and access the seagate login page. This was not a problem a couple of days ago. The error report says 'You have not selected this website for SSO'.

I cannot find any help to resolve this problem and it is slightly odd that it was an accepted site previously.

I am getting frustrated with Firefox. It is so buggy. Above is a link to a website that does not show any images in the search, however, it works perfectly on Vivaldi. I am continually launching Vivaldi when Firefox fails.

This happens a lot of Yelp, and many websites.

Granted my iMac is older, High Sierra, Firefox version 115.29.0esr.

Frankly, this machine is perfect, fast. It may be old but Apple has given me no reasons to buy another one.

Spell checking does not work with Outlook Web Mail in Firefox. This issue has been raised by many others but I find that the answers and solutions don't match my user interface and aren't really solutions. This seems to be a widespread problem and I really feel that Mozilla should solve it. Docusign does not work through Firefox anymore. However , it does work with other browsers. I have emptied my Cache and deleted and reinstalled Firefox with no luck. Any suggestions?

Bonjour, je ne peux plus me connecter à ma boite mail hotmail.com depuis la version 144.0.2 (64bits) de Firefox Je suis avec Windows 11 famille 64 bits - 24H2 et 25H2 (j'ai essayé avec les 2 versions) avec un compte local. Je choisis de me connecter avec un mot de passe et après avoir validé le mot de passe, j'arrive sur une page qui me dit d'utiliser un autre appareil ou une autre méthode de connexion. Je joins les fenêtres de connexion étape par étape Avec Google Chrome (que je ne veux pas utiliser), je me connecte sans problème à ma boite mail avec les même étapes décrites ci-dessus. I haven't been able to log in to Yahoo on FF esr for 2 weeks. I never had issues before and I can still log in with other browsers on the same device (windows computer).

Until today I was able to get a verification code sent to my email (which I accessed by logging in with another browser and inputting it into Yahoo on FF) but that stopped working.

I tried FF in troubleshoot mode & private browsing window, I've always had FF set to clear cookies/cache on closing EXCEPT Yahoo but I also tried deleting the Yahoo cookies and it made no difference, my email on FF settings has ALWAYS been set to Yahoo. I made absolutely no changes to any settings before it stopped recognizing FF.

I can't contact Yahoo because my 30-year-old email is a free account.

Why is Yahoo no longer recognizing FF (esr)? Is this to do with the most recent update?? I don't know if this is a Yahoo issue or a FF issue (but obviously there's something about FF Yahoo doesn't like). I don't know if this is affecting anyone else but it's REALLY frustrating because now I have to open a second browser just to check my email.

When trying to upload a file to sharepoint or service-now, I get the following error: You don't have permission to open this file. Contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission.

The operation works in other browsers.

I have disabled all extensions and add-on's, tried in safe mode, private browsing mode, reviewed Windows security, application and system log files.

I'm not finding anything in the Web Developer Tools either.

Has anyone run into this before?

image of problem Some, but not all, pages browsed throw up a "hamburger" menu, top left of the window. (the link above should link you to a screenshot taken this morning in Firefox 142.0.1 (64) running on Win11.)

The menu button floats eternally over the text in that top-left corner. This irritates me because I read text, and am frustrated by the browser covering readable text.

I can't remember ever (20+ years) needing the Table Of Contents of a web page. I use Mozilla Firefox's excellent Edit, Find if I want to jump directly to a key word.

Anyone who can suggest a perpetual dismissal of this menu button will earn my lifelong admiration!

I know that messenger is going away on he desktop as per Meta. Ever since i have had Messenger through Firefox when i click on the camera and the voice it say it can not be done on Firefox browser. My desktop (WIN 11, fully updated) Firefox (reloaded yesterday) does not play well with Google's Blogger. I maintain an open tab on my Blogger account, but that SEEMS to cause freeze-up on all other tabs. THis morning I opened a tab and attempted to sign in to Blogger but a connection to Google never came through. However, when using Edge to open/use Blogger there are no problems.

Hello everyone, I manage a website, which focuses on mobile phone prices and SIM package information in Bangladesh. I’ve noticed that the site loads noticeably slower in Firefox than in Chrome, especially on pages with large images (like smartphone price lists). I’ve already optimized the images using WebP and enabled LiteSpeed caching on my server. Are there any Firefox-specific performance recommendations I should try (for example, about image lazy loading or compression settings)? Websites like Medicare.gov give message like "We can't process your request at this time." This happens with increasing frequency on pages I know are valid and secure. MS Edge opens them with no problem.

Another example - my bank web site. Firefox triggers a whole series of confirmation tests from them but Edge gets in with just ID and password.

I am using a VPN from Malwarebytes. Windows 11 is the OS. Latest version of Firefox is installed (144.0.2 (64-bit))

I have been a long time Firefox user, but am starting to drift away to Edge because it connects to more web sites with less hassle.

What are my options?

Used to be able to login into ml.com, now get "We're sorry, but we can't complete your request at this time. Please try again later." Tried clearing cache/cookies etc. Tried multiple days/weeks. I can login on Chrome. Merrill Lynch says it's a Firefox issue and seems uninterested in doing anything, like contacting Mozilla about the problem. So here I am.

Mozilla needs to come up with a permanent solution to this issue. I know that Google probably started it by somehow changing YouTube, but Mozilla needs to react and come up with a solution.

As per the title...

If I access "mail.yahoo.com" (specifically the site in the screenshot) at all in a Firefox session, that session is no longer able to play videos, i.e. Youtube, Tiktok, or any other streaming videos.

The videos "break" in that the player loads, but the content does not load, and the player is stuck endlessly with the loading circle animation.

Video previews also don't play when mousing over the thumbnails.

This is solved only by restarting Firefox, i.e. in a totally new session. It cannot be circumvented by opening a Private Browsing session, or new window, or closing the Yahoo Mail tab.

This bug is reproducible in a new profile: i.e. I went to about:profiles, loaded a new profile and opened browser in that new profile, went to mail.yahoo.com in one tab, opened youtube.com in another tab, and none of the videos (or ads) played in that youtube tab.

This bug is reproducible in troubleshoot mode.

This bug does not occur in a different browser, e.g. Brave.

This bug only seems to have happened recently, possibly with one of the recent updates. Edit: I rolled back to 143.0.4 and it still occurs.
