Tabs disappeared after I updated (as suggested) to the latest Firefox version (Version 142.0.1). My bookmarks were retained, but my tabs disappeared. How can I find them? When I look at "recently closed tabs" under "History," I only see tabs from today, none that were on the previous version of Firefox.

I updated recently the Firefox installation on my Mac to 139.0.1. I noticed that I can no longer print from certain websites using Firefox. One example is from Alaskair, where I tried to print a ticket and it was just sitting there trying. I had no problem printing the same with Safari.

Is this a known problem? Any suggestion (other than just give up on Firefox and use Safari) for what to do about this?

Every time I update Firefox, new bugs cause annoying problems. That's why I usually not updating for a long time.

Is there any software that allows software developers to see what the CSS they are creating is doing in real time ?

Because I can't imagine they're doing it blindly. I see some CSS files that have hundreds, possibly thousands, of lines.

If there is software that helps them see immediately what their CSS is doing, can it be used to create extensions (add-ons) for Firefox ?

I am not at all happy with this update. How do I delete it from my system? If I had any notification of what you were doing I would not have allowed it in the first place. And I will definitely be turning off auto updates from now on.

I have noticed in the last two week severe problems with Gmail freezing while I am using Mozilla Firefox as my browser. Here is the message I got today:

I can no longer log in to iCloud applications on Firefox . On my iPhone 11, I receive the request to log in to my Apple account. I followed the same steps and was able to do so on Google Chrome. Attached is the error message.

When I try to sign in to my icloud account the account authorization won't pop up at all. I've tried restarting my pc and everything. I'm using Fedora Linux version 42 Workstation edition.

I am unable to sign into the iCloud web page on Firefox. I can sign in on Microsoft Edge, or on the Safari browser on my phone, so this is clearly a Firefox specific problem. When I try to sign in, the page skips the option that verifies my identity and goes straight to a message saying "Failed to verify your identity, Try again" without allowing the verification to occur. The verification would occur if the page would allow it to, as it does in the other browsers I mentioned. This was working fine last time I logged in a few days ago, so this is a new problem. I could switch over to Edge, but would prefer to use Firefox, if I can. Please help me. Thank you.

Suddenly, I can no longer log in to iCloud on my MacBook Air from Firefox: I get the login alert and the code to validate the connection, but the window to enter the verification code doesn't appear. It says "enter" the code, but I don't get the window to do so!

I'm on Big Sur 11.7.10, it worked without a hitch for years. This laptop is one of my trusted devices. Is a recent update preventing the connection?

I looked at similar questions, and answers from 2020 said to add the 6-digit code after my password, but that solution doesn't work.

It seems the problem is with Firefox; it works on Safari. Any solution for Firefox?

when I go to icloud.com to view and download photos and all my icloud stuff on my phone, I can no longer sign in using firefox. I turned off the shield security but no help. There used to be a pop-up that let you enter the code apple emailed you so you could access your icloud stuff on the web. Now there is no place to enter the code they send you. I enabled pop-ups too, but that didn't work. Help! I need my photos! And I use that site pretty much constantly-

Suddenly I cannot log into icloud from your browser. I can log in using other devices and other browsers. Fire Fox gives me an error message "Failed to verify your identity. Try again"

Hi, I'm using Firefox 142 on Ubuntu 24.04. It's a fresh install. I cannot sign in icloud.com with Firefox even though it works with other browsers like Brave. I deleted all cookies and site data and disabled extensions (KeePassXC). It doesn't help. I tried in new private window. No success. I copy my password from a password manager, so, no, I haven't mistyped it.

Here's what I do:

1. Open Firefox and go to icloud.com
2. Click on the "Sign In" button
3. Enter my Apple-ID and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Email or Phone Number" field

At this point Brave behaves differently than Firefox. See below for how Brave behaves.

Firefox: -> A "Password" field appears (no buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey")

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> Error message "Failed to verify your identity. Try again" appears. See icloud.png

Brave: -> Two buttons "Continue with Password" and "Sign in with Passkey" appear. See icloud-with-brave.png

1. Click on button "Continue with Password"

-> A "Password" field appears.

1. Enter my password and click on the arrow on the right end of the "Password" field

-> 2FA code is sent to my iPhone -> "Two-Factor Authentication" form opens... etc. complete sign in successfully

Unfortunately I cannot attach the HAR file from the login sequence because the password is included. However, I attached some screenshots from the Web Developer Tools. It seems to me that the login flow with Firefox is broken. I can't tell who's to blame, Apple of Firefox. The error message with Firefox is always the same, no matter whether I enter the correct password or rubbish. In Brave, however, there is a more precise error message when I enter a bad password. I have a 2020 model MacAir with M1 chip, running Sequoia 15.6.1 and Firefox 143.0. When I bookmark a website, I no longer get the option to select which Folder to save it in. I have to bookmark the site, then edit the bookmark in order to place it in the right folder. Is there a fix for this problem? I've tried several times searching on the Help and Support pages but don't see anything. Thank you!

I was using Clean My Mac and it recommended that I clean some files that Firefox was using. I did not realize that one of them was my password file. I rely heavily on Firefox to fill in passwords. Is there anyway to recover the file? I do have Time Machine backups on my MacBook.
