bold text simple question - i want to add Grok to the AI sidebar options... why doesnt the Grok addon work any longer Im using the latest firefox as my default browser

(Sorry if I wasted anyone's time. The issue turned out to be my large external monitor for one of my computers. When I was not using it, the smaller laptop screen did not allow all Firefox setting pop-up windows to display fully, so I could not see what I was used to seeing. When I connected it again to my large external monitor, everything was fine. That is why the other computer had no issues.

(So it had nothing to do with Firefox at all, and I am sorry if anyone read my question! Thanks.)

Hello. I am having issues accessing my email account using the Firefox browser. I use Mail.com. When I go to Mail.com and try to login, I get a page with an error message, code, and request ID. The status code is 429. The message says too many requests and the request ID is aff3b7138f66aa8ba82f43c2af68621e. Does anyone know how to resolve this??? I will also reach out to Mail.com to see if they can help. Thanks!

I need help recovering my phones my settings my photos on my accounts and passwords have been changed on two devices by a person that was not supposed to be using any of my accounts including my Mozilla

When the AI chatbot is enabled in the sidebar but "collapsed" -- the tool not engaged -- is any data sent to the chatbot provider? Can the chatbot be collecting data while not engaging with the user? Or is context sent only with prompts and limited to the tab that is open?

What sort of sandboxing is enforced by Firefox?

The small - apparently AI - summary provided at the top of a Firefox search always lists the identity of the sources where the info is found. Do any of the AI chatbots identify the sources where they found the info?

When I tried to log in to my account earlier today, I found that it was gone. I used my recovery key to create a new password and now lost all data, passwords etc. What do I do now? Why did this happen? I am not very computer literate but have tried all of the suggestions in your help forum and nothing works. Nothing has changed on my computer since my last login yesterday. Firefox is my home page and browser.

I am running Firefox 148.0 and Thunderbird 148.0. I am in the process of moving everything to a new (to me) computer that will run Windows 11. When I start Firefox from the start menu or the taskbar everything runs as expected. I have the Adblock Plus extension plus several others running. If I click on a Hyperlink in a email in Thunderbird instead of opening in a new tab into the currently open copy of Firefox as it did on my old computer running Windows 10 it opens in a new window with no extensions. I am assuming that I have something set incorrectly. Any help as to where I should look to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Today my goggle searches, are being sent to the address bar, and have the google tag in front of them, I cannot use any of the other search engines that drop down from the upper search bar, so just google, and that is really hijacking my search.

You have a split-screen feature. That's awesome! Please make it accessible through the context menu (right-click), so I can hover over a link and select it from the context menu. So I can do it through the context menu instead of through tabs.

I was pasting in data from the internet into my spreadsheet and google sheets (or Firefox) is pasting in said data three times and it is driving me insane. I paste the raw values in a formatted cell, and rapidly it pastes correctly, but then pastes the original data/cell at least once if not twice. Like, say there's a green cell and I paste the values in it, and it works, but it then pastes the data OVER the cell removing the formatting. The worst part? It works correctly on chrome!

Anybody else having issues with this feature? It had been working well to send tabs from my tablet and phone to my desktop computer, which I have been doing due to the lame way that FF uses for filing bookmarks into folders on the mobile devices.

A few days ago I started seeing "unable to send" popping up after a delay, instead of "tab sent" which typically appears immediately. Sometimes, the tab is sent even though it says it wasn't and sometimes it will send it after repeated attempts, and other times it doesn't. My wireless network and ISP connection are high speed and reliable.

So far, the problem only appears when trying to send from mobile to desktop. Sending from the desktop to mobile seems to work fine. The problem started while using 147.0.4 and persists after upgrading to 148.

How do I get searches (my default is Google) to STOP going to the address bar? This started out of the blue and it is making me crazy. I don't want to be asked which search to use, and I don't want it to search in the address bar. I want it in the search box. Thanks.

When copying from an outside tab then use paste value only into a Google Sheets tab, whether using shortcut or the drop down menu, it seems to first paste properly then show a "paste" dialog box that couldn't be removed. Any other input seems to paste again, taking from the last copy before the current one. Copying from another Google Sheets tab seems to have the same result but instead of the dialog box, it double paste, as described previously, immediately. Testing in Chrome seems to work as usual and clearing the cache has not help. Issues seems to arise since the latest update to Firefox.

my PC was lagging on wake up so I was disabling some things at startup like duck duck go and copilot to see if that helped. I have windows 11. somehow during the process my google sheets will no longer perform copy > paste special values anymore. It works on my Mac and it works on other browsers, but I need it to work on firefox. went to google sheets help, they are also stumped.
