Think I've asked before, but I'm still having the same issue: in my Firefox (desktop, Windows 11), in the storage\default folder in my profile, there are, today, 5442 files! 416 folders appear here, with each one containing one or more folders ("Is", "idb", and/or "cache"), which, in turn, contain several files each, and a ".metadata-v2" file. The oldest of the 416 folders in 9/16/25. What is all this? I regularly delete all cookies over 30 days old in Manage Data.

To whom it may concern,

I have attached a picture of the error message I get when trying to play a video. I know the website is not at fault as I can use your competitors browser (Chrome) and the videos play with no issue. I have also tried a few media player extensions with no success. Please help me find a solution so I do not need to use another browser. Thanks

I'm unable to install a dictionary from the official FF add-on store. I click on "Install" and this button sort of "activates", turning grey, but remains stuck forever. It's not an add-on, it's a language extension. I read the troubleshooting article. I did NOT clean the extension folder together with sqlite, ini and JSON as suggested, as I'm not sure it relates to my problem.

FF 142, macOS. Installing dictionaries worked in 141, 140 and earlier.

Within a minute of starting Firefox up, it loses internet connection and prevents the computer from connecting to anything else. Using Ethernet or Wifi doesn't work. The only thing that corrects it is restarting the computer. List of things we have tried: Troubleshooting Mode in Firefox Removing all addons Uninstalling and Reinstalling Firefox with the latest update Disabling DNS over HTTPS Clearing Firefox's DNS cache Clearing the computer's DNS cache Adding IPv6 to our standard IPv4 connection Rebooting the router Used a new Firefox profile Run a virus scan

This is on Windows 11. There are multiple other computers on the network, with W10 and W11, and none of them are having this issue. I've tried everything I can think of. After losing connection, it still pings 8.8.8.8.. Is there anything else we can try?

So I have had a favorite URL in Firefox for a decade or more https://www.outlook.com/owa to access outlook.com via web browser. Microsoft in Firefox only since the last upgrade does some weird looking and throws an error saying to try again later. If I delete my cookies for live.com and refresh the link it brings me to the sign in page where I can put in the email/password and it opens fine. If I close the window same thing happens and have to clear cookies, etc. Doesn't have the issue on Chrome or Edge, but thought I would make someone aware something odd is happening there. For now I just am using an alternate link https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/ and it comes up fine but it is not re authenticating again at that point.

Is there something I can do to avoid the error?

Hi, I have the settings of 'General > Startup > [checked] Open previous windows and tabs' on. Most of the time it works as expected, but there are several occurrences when all of the sudden all of my pinned tabs are gone. When this happened, I usually tried the 'Command + Shift + T' to restore them. Sometimes they came back, some other times, they don't.

Can you fix it?

It's starting to get really irritating because I can have >12 tabs pinned and it's troublesome to have to remember them all in case this happens again in the future.

Thanks!

Hi, I recently upgraded my Macbook Pro (running Sequoia 15.6.1) to the Firefox desktop app 143.0.1 (aarch64). Google Drive, which is my company's file-sharing and collab platform, no longer allows me to open and edit documents unless I clear my cache on a daily basis, which is not a sustainable workflow. I either get stuck on "loading" (see screenshot) or the file opens but I cannot edit it. I've also turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection (see screenshot).

I love the Firefox browser and hate to leave it but I'm at my wits' end. Hoping someone can help - thanks!

Hello, I have ran into issues with the file upload window in firefox locking the program. I am not quite sure if I have tried uploading anything since the last update a few days ago, but it happens regardless of the website I use. It basically just freezes up as soon as it opens the file explorer window. I tried on chrome with no issues so it doesn't seem to be a windows thing as far as I can tell. I restarted my pc to see if that would help, but with no luck. I opened up task manager when this was happening to check what was going on and firefox seemed to be stuck using almost all the ram on my system 15.7 out of 16gb.

Anyone have this issue occurring in the last few days? Any thoughts on how to fix?

Thanks for any help
