If IMAP folders have been deleted from the server, my understanding of the expected result is that they would no longer be visible on the client. Instead they display in an italic font. Is there a way to make these ghost folders go away? I've tried Unsubscribe from Deleted Folders (Folders display but no tick box to unsubscribe) Deleting cache directories etc all to no avail.

Am I missing something here?

Bonjour je n'ai plus accès à Thunderbird. Un bug de l'éducation nationale m'a fichu mon compte thunderbird en l'air. Je ne trouve plus mon mot de passe... du coup je ne peux plus l'ouvrir. Je n'ai désinstallé et installé de nouveau mais toujours le même problème. Je suis sur mac... Merci d'avance Murielle

No audio on Firefox. Google Chrome has sound. Settings at normal audio volumes. Tried computer shut off and re-boot. Tried reload of Firebox.but that didn't help. Had scam attempt just before no audio issue...not sure if that problem.

I have the thunderbird app on my Linux SSD I set up Thunderbird all went fine when I installed my outlook account, I also have windows 11 so I booted into windows installed Thunderbird there and when I add the same account that i used on the linux. For some reason it wont let me sign in it gives me an account credentails error then send me to microsoft to sign in another way, the recovery email address is not the same as the one I have signed into linux on. I checked the password and recovery email I created and Im able to sign in the password is fine and the recovery email is as well. The thunderbird I installed on windows the account I am trying to add the recovery email is someone elses account not mine for recovery and its saying the password is wrong. I have outlook on my windows desktop and can sign in to that account I even signed out and back in again perfect. I checked the recovery email and password on microsoft web site for outlook and my account credentails are fine. I cant figure this out. It works fine on linux and the shortcut I have on my windows for outlook. But wont allow me to set it up on Thunderbird I installed on my windows. Why is it that thunderbird worked fine setting up on linux with my account but not on windows... I did delete microsoft edge a week or so ago I was wondering if that could be why I dont know.

I am trying to create filters for all the spam I have been receiving. It mentioned a tools menu for adding additional filters, but I am not seeing a tools menu anywhere,

Can I get an app or add on to my thunderbird email that tells me the email I have sent has been received and opened. An app or add on that does not require the person receiving the email to manually acknowledge the email has been received and read.

In other words when the email is received and opened I get a notification automatically.

Moi Drodzy pozdrawiam Was Mam wielką prośbę ostatnio byłem zmuszony przywrócić windows 11 z kopii zapasowej i bardzo byłem zdziwiony gdy przy uruchamianiu Waszej przeglądarki wyskoczyło mi okno logowania niestety założyłem u Was to konto bardzo dawno posługując się u wczesnym adresem " condor5@wp.pl " na tomiast w obecnej chwili zastosowałem mój aktualny e-mail " condorhk9@gmail.com " i co się stało : otóż po zalogowaniu ku mojemu zaskoczeniu przeglądarka ukazała mi się w szarych odcieniach a co gorsza cały zasób moich cennych dla mnie zakładek figuruje tam gdzie powinien być ale jest nieaktywny.Czytałem Wasze poradniki ale problem jest chyba innej natury bo jak wspomniałem to co jest szare (stare) jest nieaktywne natomiast można korzystać z pola adresowego i przeglądarka działa.Bardzo mi zależy na tych zakładkach one tam istnieją ale przy próbie ich przywrócenia pojawia się komunikat """ Nie udało się przetworzyć pliku kopii zapasowej. I'm having problems getting my signature to appear in Thunderbird as it does in my soon-to-be former email client. I've attached pics of the signature as it should appear and as it appears when imported to Thunderbird. I can edit the HTML code, but I'm not sure how to correct things like the image not importing when the link is correct and how to get rid of the dotted line border that shows up in Thunderbird when it does not appear in my current email client signature. I attempted to attach my HTML file, but cannot. I can post the code, if that would be beneficial. HELP!

In the past I have had several computers synced together to keep bookmarks the same on each computer. Now I sometimes get the bookmarks but the links on the bookmarks are all changed to other sites. Everything is scrambled. How do I get a couple of my computers all syncing to other computers.

Within the last few days, I have been unable to browse to our vCenter server using Firefox. When I do initially, I get the usual certificate error. Once accepted, I get an error that Firefox cannot connect to the server.

I receive the same error in Private mode as well.

I am able to browse without issue using Chrome which leads me to believe the problem is with Firefox.

Any help would be appreciated.

When Firefox opens its first tab, when I enter a site a new (second) tab is opened. From that second tab, sites open in a new tab, or the same tab. But the very first tab remains empty and just takes up space.

What I'd like to see is the first site open in the first tab and then subsequent tabs open in new tabs. I don't have a home page set and don't need it. Is there someplace in settings that can I change this behavior?

My local network is 10.10.10.x and I can't log into my NAS, web server or another computer on the local network... Internet access is fine. Happens on Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

If I access the same web address using Safari or Chrome it works just fine and it used to work before the software update to the 147 build.

So what switch/setting got kicked over during the upgrade that I have to turn off?

These kind of issues really make me mad at the Firefox Dev team... and I'm a very long time user.

one website is timing out, I started to have problem yesterday. I was able to load when I tethered with my iphone.

Closed all the application rebooting Mac tried on Safari

with no success

Chrome says it's 504 error

Just got the new update 147.0.1 (Build #2016138271)

Wondering if there is any way to enable opening bookmarks in new tabs without having to menu/long press the link?

I'm pretty sure Firefox made that function by default before this update, and would be nice if they could make that a toggle option rather than wholesale disabling it.

It was actually useful (for me) on mobile. Made it easier to not lose a tab I'm currently on. Now I keep automatically losing the previous open tab with new content, kinda frustrating.

Previously, on Firefox iOS, I would tap on the URL bar, type a search query, hit enter, and I would immediately navigate to the Google search page.

Now, in-between hitting enter and navigating to the Google search page, there is a multi second delay.
