I've been trying to figure out why my browser looks weird in several locations. You can see in the screenshots that elements I know should be round are square and dark outlines are appearing in both browser and app elements (all shown by pointers). I've tried searching the settings for accessibility features that might be making things stand out but I could not find anything like that. Any ideas?

(And yes I know I misspelled "quiz" in that subject line. You have a good eye.)

Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem,

Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

That was it! I've been fortunate not to have a cookie problem like that before. Nuclear options, like dropping all my cookies, aren't my go to so I tend not to even consider them. Why would cookies effect my browser control areas?

I'm not sure. Cookies are how websites store information on your system like settings and such.
