Making Firefox Default Browser
I've installed "Firefox for Android" on my Cell ph. I have android ver. 5.1.1 & Chrome is my default browser for my Android. The directions to make Firefox doesn't have the options shown in the instructions for Ver 5 or Lower, mor does any other Ver 6 & 7 show when looking at the directions which show go into Apps/All/Browser or Internet. Nothing shows "Browser" or "Internet". So therefore, I'm unable to make Firefox my Default Browser. If I go into App/Chrome the Default is not enabled [Showing the button as Chrome being Default. If I uninstall my Chrome Browser, I then lose all Favorite Links. I hate "Google as it seems to have created a monopoly on every darn Android which I feel should be considered illegal. I have a low end Android Ph & will not pay the exuberant [Rediculous] prices that are charged for Cell aphs. I wish Consumers would realize they're getting ripped off & quit waisting their money on Tech Items that are over priced & built in sweat slave Communists shops in China.

Hey, First of all you need to clear Chrome as your default browser. For that you need to Settings>>Apps/Installed Apps>>Google Chrome, there you will see a prompt saying that this app has been set as default for certain actions. Below the prompt there should be an option of 'Clear all defaults for this app'. Once you do that, locate to Mozilla Firefox in Installed Apps and choose it as default. These steps might or might not work for you depending on your device.
