Why is it I can download a pdf file say 980kb in seconds but a file of just 1mb or over just seems to take for ever?

But it finishes the download? Does their site have a bandwidth limitation?

Thanks for your reply. Not sure if that is the problem, as my laptop downloads from the same site no matter how big the file is. WeTransfer suggested anti-virus may be stopping their files but if they download up to 1mb that can't be so, can it?

Have you contacted support for that website?

I think it is specific to my PC in some way but not sure how. Need to check security, as it seems to be triggered by the 1mb file size and above. Other laptops etc are not having the same problem, so for now downloading larger files that way. Thanks for your help.
